Help Please!! Letrazole vs Clomid?

Has anyone's doctor prescribed them Letrazole instead of clomid? My doctor said that is my next step starting with my next cycle. I told her I was surprised because I was expecting to hear Clomid and she said that Letrazole is kind of like the 'new clomid' and I was wondering if anyone else has tried it or had success stories or any helpful information to share? -- TTC #1 for 11 months with crazy irregular periods 🤷🏼‍♀️

After my Clomid rounds if still not successful my doctor will switch me to this and go from there

My doctor is putting me on that as well for my next cycle! After he saw the ultrasound results he didn't like the size of uterine lining and said he was going to put me on this! I took clomid my first round and test never got a positive ovulation so hopefully this will result in better luck!

I did 3rounds of clomid and still not pregnant !!
My fertility doctor wants me to start Letrozole, she said to me it has way better results for people who have pcos which i do !! I have irregular periods so I don't know when i ovulate 😫 but im praaying Letrozole does the trick for us both 🙏🏻🙏🏻 im on 4/10 days to kick start my period & than ill be taking the pill from cd3-7.
I've reas very very good reviews about this so im just prayingg 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Update! Negative and on to round 3

I took clomid 50 and 100mg and did not ovulate,  my doctor switched me to the femara just waiting to start
