Does it make me a bad person?

Does it make me a bad person that I feel so much anger and sadness when I see or hear another pregnancy announcement or gender reveal? My husband and I have been TTC for a little over a year now and still struggling... everyone I confided in about our struggle ended up pregnant and here I am disappointed month after month. Feeling broken. Being told how I'm jealous and crazy for feeling how I do. Feeling alone now that I feel like I have no one to confide in anymore.

Not at all! I've been TTC for 4 years now and nothing. After a year of trying my 3 closets friend all fell pregnant within a month of each others. I literally didn't know what to do, I was sooo pleased for them all but absolutely broken inside, especially as one was on contraception!! Then my best friend found out she was pregnant again just 3 weeks after she stopped the pill. I cried for a month straight... unfortunately she lost what was twins but it still kills me to this day that she can fall so easily. I hope you fall pregnant soon so you can experience the joy they have, good luck :)

No, I totally get it. I threw social media out of the window years ago. But my best friend got pregnant on her first try last month and that was kinda.... well it sucked... I'm sorry, baby dust to you.

Not at all, I feel that way too. Social media makes things way harder so I try to stay away from it when I'm feeling especially low...unless it's somewhere like here with people who understand! : )

You're not alone. I'm a psychiatrist and women/couples with fertility struggles is one of the fastest growing patient bases I've seen lately. That tells me the struggle is real and the damage this journey can do is wide ranging and relevant. People need to talk about their experiences and vent. What you're feeling is 100% normal.

It's completely understandable!  I have been TTC for 6 years (with hubby 14 years and married 7 years).  So many ppl have gotten pregnant in that time.  Including all my sisters and friends.  I'm the only one without kids and it's hard.  They are all so supportive and understanding and try to make things easier on me.  It's human nature to be upset/angry/hurt and all kinds of emotions.  You would be human if you didn't feel it.  But at the end of the day I tell myself it's no one else's fault I have lost 2 babies and am not a mom yet.   So I put on my big girl panties and a fake smile at times and that's all you can do.   Let those tears out too though.  Holding it in doesn't help either.   Best of luck girl and keep your head up. You are not alone. Your human and it's ok to feel jealous if your wanting something and not getting it. I'm in the same boat, but I stay above these feeling and emotions and tell myself your time is coming. My time is coming and that's it. Keep believing. Don't get discouraged, fight the good fight.

Have been there, absolutely. I knew ten other women who got pregnant before I finally did, most of them accidental. I cried every time i learned of a new oopsie pregnancy... It really does feel so unfair and gutting when you want it so bad and it isnt happening.

No your feeling are 100% normal! Of course your going to be jealous and angry when others are conceiving and your not! But that won't mean your time won't come! I am in the same boat, except we have only been trying for around 7 months. Every time I see someone with a baby or getting pregnant, it makes me feel like a failure and angry at the world for not letting me be the mother I've always wanted to be.
