whole milk bowel issues anyone?

Little one has been on whole milk for about 2 weeks now and her bowels are HUGE.

Some days they are soft, other days they are hard but the one thing they have in common are they are gigantic pieces. Little one pushes them out for the most part but in pieces mostly. I hear her grunting and I can feel the lump in her stomach.

I had her on emfamil reguline for all of these months because she alwaus had issues with holding her bowels for days 9+ because it hurt. We were good and she was normal but now she's back to irregular bowels. She bled a little the other day because the bowel was massive.

Should I stop the milk?

My daughter was also on reguline and I tried transitioning her twice. The first time over a 2 week span and the second was about a month and both times she ended up with huge painful poops...the last straw was her hysterically crying and me physically having to help her poop. I switched to almond milk immediately and she has done great. I usually give her 8 oz two of which i add water to. She has always been a good eater and drinks water like a fish and i wasn't comfortable with giving her miralax. Ill try milk again around 18-20 months and see if she can tolerate it better but, she does well on silk almond milk.

My little one was having the same issue. We slowly transitioned her from formula to whole milk. About 2 weeks after being on only whole milk she started having hard stools. It got so bad she would cry from the pain. Her doctor told me to increase her water intake, fruit, and high fiber foods. She also suggested we put her Miralax for 7-10 days. She was good after the 10 days then it started again. Formula seems to help so her doctor suggested we try giving her some formula. So far 8 oz of the stage 2 Enfagrow toddle r formula is helping a little. The dr said I could try up to 16 oz and then stick the whole milk for the rest of the day.
