Painless contractions making it hard to breathe?!

Question

After being monitored today I found out I am having contractions very irregular though. Since I have been home I have noticed them more often and regular but not painful just uncomfortable. They bunch my stomach up so hard that it's almost hard to breathe like there isn't room. Has anyone else been experiencing this? 37+4 today! Also what is the best way to track my contractions?

Yep, BH. They do prepare your body for labor, so are not totally worthless, but aren't considered real contractions either. You'll totally know when they are real, they will HURT!! but the breathtaking squeezing is an interesting and annoying sensation :)

From what it sounds like, those are BH contractions .. and those "don't count" lol. From what I've been told, when you have "real contractions" they will be 10x worse than a period cramp .. there is an app called full term that you can use to track them. I went into th hospital because my contractions were painless - but uncomfortable, but consistent and about 5-10 minutes apart .. they said unless they are painful, they aren't the real thing (best way they could tell me the difference) so try not to mind those too much ((: hope that helps !

I'll get some BH contractions that feel so tight that it does make me feel like I'm losing my breath. Nothing really regular or painful though, but hopefully these contractions are helping me dilate/thin out!
