Advice on buying a breast pump?

Hi ladies! I'm looking into buying a breast pump, but not sure where to get one or what kind to buy. I don't mind if it's a online purchase or in store. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

First question which will influence your decision is how often you are planning on pumping? 
I started off with a manual pump as I didn't want to splash out on an electric, but soon found that the money was the saviour of my sanity. I was spending well over 30 minutes to pump even a few ounces with the manual, and if you are doing that more than once a day plus trying to look after a baby, it soon feels like a massive chore. 
I bought the Lansinoh double electric when on offer and I love it. So much quicker firstly, you also have the option to pump one or both breasts at the same time (another time saver as had to do them one at a time with the manual, and when painfully full, another annoyance), you can also adjust the speed and pressure of the pump to find what works best for you and closely mimics your baby feeding (I read that they are at least twice as efficient as an electric, so getting close to what they do helps to express more each time)
My biggest recommendation is simply if you plan to pump with any regularity and certainly more than once a day then electric is the way forward.

If your insurance doesn't cover you can get a spectra S1 on amazon for $140. It's the best on the market IMO.

All insurances are required to cover some sort of breast pump, although they control which kinds, so it may not be the kind you want or need. Contact your insurance company and ask about breast pumps, or click on one of the adds for breast pumps in a pregnancy app and put in your insurance info and see what they say.

Definitely talk to your insurance company. They all cover some type of pump. I recommend the Spectra model (S1 or S2).  It's small, quiet, powerful enough for me, and it's a closed system pump.  My insurance with BCBS covered it completely. No out of pocket cost.  I ordered it through Bynum healthcare or something like that...

If you have insurance go to aeroflows website!! I just got a spectra S2 for free with extra parts! Chances are your insurance covers them.
