13 weeks and anxious can we find out the gender this early???

Question

I have an ultrasound tomorrow to do an early Down syndrome screening, and I know the ultrasound is very precise..... can you tell what the gender is this early? I'll be 13 weeks and 2 days ????

Its unlikely, and even if they could tell the gender, they likely wouldn't tell you anyway

I had 12 week ultrasounds with both of my pregnancies, and the tech took a guess for me and both times it ended up being correct 😊

They are more likely to tell you this early if your having a boy. 
For my 1st son I got told at 12 weeks and was confirmed at 16 week scan. 
For this baby I was told at about 11 weeks 5 days that they were 80% boy and guess what..... 27 weeks and still a boy!

Some people are just abit wary and don't want to tell you the wrong gender incase you take it out on them.. 😳😳👍🏾

At my 13 week ultrasound my OB said 80% sure it was a boy, at 16 weeks it was confirmed.... he's all boy!

Possibly. I found out at 100% certainty at 14 weeks on the dot. Btw 12 weeks is normal for the nuchal translucency, 13 is not early it's actually a week late.

An ultrasound at that point isn't very accurate. It's not until close to 20 weeks, but even then a tech can make a mistake. 
If you want to know for sure you could do a genetic test. If you don't want to pay for the Harmony or MaterniT21 test you can order the Sneak Peek test online and do it at home. Any blood test is going to be near 100% accurate
