Last prenatal appointment

So at 39 weeks & 4 days, my doctor finally sees just how bad my legs have been and tells me I have severe pitting edema... My feet are purple, I can't feel or move my toes and from the knees down I am swollen beyond belief. For the past month I had been telling them just how bad my legs would swell up, but I was always told it was "normal." I completely understood it was normal to swell while pregnant, to a certain extent, but I knew something wasn't right and they wouldn't listen to me so I got really frustrated. I just wanted them to do something, test me for pre-eclampsia, anything, but it was brushed off up until now. My doctor is now 'concerned' with how bad it is so I have to go into the hospital at 4 to start the process of being induced. I'm worried and just hope everything goes well for my little Luna and I . Although I'm upset it took this long and it had to get so bad for them to FINALLY do something, I'm praying there are no other underlying issues that I run into and that everything goes well so I'll be able to have my little girl in my arms sometime this weekend. Fingers crossed 😓
