PCOS Anybody????????????

My sister and I both have PCOS. We just found out she is pregnant with her first child and she hasn't been trying for that long. I on the other hand, have been trying for almost a year now and for the past few weeks I've been using Premama Firtility drink mixes with no luck. Any advice??

I don't have pcos but I did have annovulation problems. So basically I would go months without ovulating so I couldn't get pregnant. I tried clomid and it didn't work, but then my Dr put me on femara and I got pregnant the first round! I call it the miracle drug after trying for almost 4 years to have our 3rd. I'm now 20 weeks with my beautiful boy/girl twins. Maybe mention it to your Dr. Good luck hun

Go see a doctor and ask for help. Change your diet and ask for metformin, see if it regulates your period and then ask for an ultrasound to see if you start ovulatinf on your own correctly. If after a few months you are not, ask for the next step which is normally Clomid.

Pray, trust GOD, and see your doc. Have you tried pills to help you ovulate? My friend who was diagnosed with PCOS took clomid and conceived. After, she also conceived naturally when she worked out, lost weight, and changed her diet.

Me and my Husband tried for 5 painful years! Loosing weight (because I am over weight but not stupidly! But my body can't handle being over 11st /// 154lbs! So anything over and I get extremely bad with periods and body hair etc!) but loosing weight and eating a health clean diet helped a lot. Also we started taking Maca which is supposed to help settle hormones. All in all after plenty of painful years we decided to take a "year break" on trying as it started to impacted who we are and our relationship. We went on holiday and started planning for things we would do in this year and what would you guess we fell pregnant! And in that first month! And with twins! Our girls are now coming up to 3 years old! And we are TTC again.. again no luck but this time we aren't taking it so seriously. I need to loose weight again and it's still 2 years till our daughters start school so we aren't in no rush. Just enjoy it the best you can xx

My fiance and I tried for 5 months then I took Metformin for two months before my fiance and I decided we weren't ready for a baby. A month after that I ended up pregnant. I would suggest going to an OB and talking about them helping you conceive. My doctors were very helpful when I told them I wanted a baby and very supportive when we decided we weren't ready. They were also helpful when I got pregnant.

I tried for two years with pcos and no luck. Found out I don't ovulate on my own. I had to go on fertility meds and do ovulation induction. I did try metformin but it didn't help me. I lost a little weight and got pregnant my second cycle on femara :)

Haven't talked to my doctor about clomid yet. My husband and I moved and i have to find a new doctor, but I also lost my medical card. Have to go apply for a new one before we can do anything.
