Are any of you ladies in or was in the army?

I want to become a nurse practitioner/ physical therapist and it's been mention to me a couple times to join the army for nursing ...I just want to see what you think if you are in it... Open to other ideas.

Yes I was in the army. They will pay your way through school or reimburse your tuition. Check out the AMEDD website to find a recruiter specifically for the medical branch. If you become a nurse or physical therapist, you would become an officer, so don't go to a regular recruiter because they will try to enlist you.

I would love to join the military. Military runs in my blood, but I feel like I wouldn't be able to handle it emotionally. I, personally, would go the military route for a career in medicine if I thought I could handle it. Do what is best for you! If this is what you want, go for it, girl!

I have actually thought about that a few times. I've worked in EMT and alot of the paramedics/EMT's that I have worked with were in the military. I plan to become a nurse.
