My son was born 9 pounds 2 ounces at birth and exactly 16 pounds at his two month checkup ! Doctor says he's one healthy big baby 😫😫😫 he's excessively breastfed could he be overeating ???

My boy was 8 pounds when born and at his 2 month check up weighed 15 pounds 6 ounces. He'll be 3 months the 6th. He's now in 6-9 months clothes and size 3 diapers. He's breastfed. Doctor said as long as its my milk he can have as much as he wants. Let him nurse whenever he wants. He's happy and healthy. Some babies are just meant to be chunks. Lol

from what I've been told as long as it's momma's milk they can't eat as much as they want and when they want. Bottling the BM you have to be a little more careful because they normally will eat whatever is in the bottle and fast. I wouldn't worry. Your LO looks healthy and happy! As long as your little one isn't throwing it up.. no issues I see here. Spit up is normal, throwing up / vomiting isn't.

I wish my boy was this big. He was 9lbs 7oz at birth and lost a lot of weight 😕. At his 2 month check up he was 13lbs 1oz, EBF. I think your baby is super cute and he's fine as long as your dr is not concerned 😊 he's gonna be big and cute ❤

My chunk was 7.8 at birth and dropped to 6.15. He is EBF. He should now be around 14/15 lbs, he will be 11 weeks on Monday. He was 13.06 lbs at his 8 week appt. Doc said he was overeating to comfort his reflux issue which just made it worse. His doctor gave us medicine for the reflux and his eating has leveled out along with the weight gain. He is in 3/6 months clothes and size 2 diapers. He is going to be a big boy too! I just love all the rolls 😊. My husband is 6'5" and big so he will probably also be bigger. Our daughter is very tall for her age. She is the height of a second grader and she is in kindergarten. Tall and skinny! They predict she will be over 6" feet tall.
