Pregnant? Fingers crossed!

Okay. Today 03/03/2017 my period was supposed to be due. I have never been late for my period. However, when I took a pregnancy test around 4:20p.m. my test came up negative. Am I pregnant or not? I've had quite a few symptoms like light cramping, extreme gas, nausea (but throughout the day not just morning), frequent bathroom runs, headaches, barely sore boobs, extremely sore nipples (they hurt so much to the touch!), and now one day of a missed period. Help!
