Lose 10 before April 4

I am getting married on April 4th. I am trying to lose ten pounds and tone down my arms a bit before that date. I also just started Nexplanon and my doctor did warn me that I might have an increase in appetite. How do I do this. I'm trying to eat mostly veggies and fruits, but it just doesn't seem to be helping me. Any suggestions or work out regimens that would be suitable for a beginner?
