HELP!!!!!

My inlaws live in Germany. While they are living there my husband and I rent their house in the United States. They came back to the states for work. Both claimed they would be staying in a hotel since work pays for it. Btmut a few days before they arrive MIL stays she is going to be at the house for a few nights. When they arrive I find out she is staying the whole week and she will also be back in April for 3 weeks. I get it is her house but we are renting it. A landlord wouldn't just come stay at the house renters are living in. And we are keeping her dog since it's too much of a hassle to take her to a different country. They come back and tell me I'm not "parenting" the dog correctly. And give me a bunch of rules I have to follow to be able to stay renting the house at the agreed price. Shouldn't I be able to take care of the dog how I see fit? Nothing I do is wrong or harmful to the dog just things like the brand of treats and the fact that she is put in a kennel when I'm not home and at night. She has only been here 24 hours and I'm ready to move out. I have a 4 month old and love my husband dearly but I can't stand his parents judging me all the time and about everything I do.
