In case anyone got overly sidetracked by the Russian spy drama, the following bills HAVE been introduced:

1. HR 861 Terminate the Environmental Protection Agency

2. HR 610 Vouchers for Public Education

3. HR 899 Terminate the Department of Education

4. HJR 69 Repeal Rule Protecting Wildlife

5. HR 370 Repeal Affordable Care Act

6. HR 354 Defund Planned Parenthood

7. HR 785 National Right to Work (this one ends unions)

8. HR 83 Mobilizing Against Sanctuary Cities Bill

9. HR 147 Criminalizing Abortion (“Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act”)

10. HR 808 Sanctions against Iran

Call your reps and oppose!!     

 

I'm not sure why people feel like criminalizing abortions will end abortion. You may not agree with it but it won't cease to exist. More women (especially teens & young adults) will just go to great lengths to attempt to miscarry which is extremely unhealthy or just get it done illegally like they did before it was legal which is again not healthy. Or you'll just have more battered children walking around neglected, unwanted and/or being prey to a system that doesn't care about them. It's a woman's choice. Her life. Her rules. Her rights. 

And While I was in High School & College, Planned Parenthood was the place a lot of my friends that came from low income homes went to for check ups, condoms, birth control, & std screenings. Why try to take that resource away from other young women?
