Yesterday morning, I was woken up at 4:30 by a stabbing pain, about an inch below my ribs, on my left side, in the front. My DH took me to the ER, where they ran blood tests, urine tests, and a cat scan, only to come back and tell me they had no idea what was wrong. My appendix and gall bladder are on the right side, kidneys are in the back, and my colon is fine. They gave me a liter of fluids, a boat load of pain killers, and sent me home. Has anyone experienced this, or similar pain? I'm really getting nervous.
