If you're making good money, would you care if you had challenging/meaningful work?

I think it's important for me to enjoy my work. I do corporate accounting, so I'm not changing the world in the least. No ones life is better because of the work I do. But I love my job. I enjoy going to work. And I think that's important.

For me yes, I also have the privilege of having a partner that makes decent money and no dependants though.

nah. i have to work because i have to survive, i don't get the luxury of enjoying my work. i wish it were that way tho! i'd probably work at a funeral home again♡♡♡♡

I'm just happy to be working. For me it's not about the job and how I feel in it. As long as I go and the day isn't filled with absolute dread then I'm happy enough. My job is only to put food on the table and a roof over the heads that matter. My real work is at home and it's far more rewarding

I feel like if you don't enjoy your job to a certain degree at least, then all the money in the world is not going to be worth it because you will be miserable.

I think "meaningful" is pretty subjective. I interpret it as doing something that positively impacts the local or global community.

I'm 28 and make decent money in my career. I've also made a lateral change in the past year. Initially it was challenging, which is important to me, but the past 6 months it's kinda fizzled and I find myself wanting to change directions. It's extremely important for me to feel challenged and to continuously grow in my field; I don't really see the point otherwise.

I feel like work should be enjoyable to a certain point. 
Before I became a SAHM I was working at a place where we should of been getting paid for more than we did. Most of the people there including me were qualified, certified, and treated like crap for 75 cents over minimum wage. I feel like if I got paid like I should of I would of put up with it. Same with all the other people that quit.

I do. I like my job most of the time, but I'm sure there are more meaningful things I could be doing. I do feel my job has a purpose though and is important.

I care if I have meaningful work, but right now I'm not 100% happy with my job. I have to stay a year since they paid for my master's degree, so I feel that the benefits of having an MBA will outweigh the fact that my work isn't meaningful ATM.
