I went through a similar situation with my ex best friend. She crossed me and I cut her off. Years later she tries to come back in my life. She went thru other people trying to reach out to me. I never actually spoke to her again but I explained to one of the people she tried to have be the middle man that I'm not mad anymore. I don't hate her , but once u cross me there's no comin back from that. I could never trust her again. what kinda friendship would that be??

I have moved on from all the fake people and I don't give them another chance. I have real friends and I focus on them.

I never was one of those people who needed a lot of friends. A few good friends is better than many fake friends.
