New to the Depo Shot

I started the Depo shot in Sep 2016 and my doctor said it would take about a year for my period to stop but in December I had a good month long period and haven't bled any since then (which is around the time that me and my boyfriend started having sex) my doctor said once I had my first period after I got the shot I would be good and other than no period and eating way more than usual I haven't really had an symptoms of being pregnant but I feel like crap at work today and a co-working jokingly mentioned it and now of course I'm a little scared but at the same time I'm not sure about the accuracy of a pregnancy test right now due to the fact that the shot is just a bunch of pregnancy hormones
