So I'm in L&D for the second time in 4 days. Came in so they could re check to see if my water broke or if I'm leaking fluid. On Friday the test said negative, it wasn't amniotic fluid. (Even though I was leaving puddles on the pads & bed sheets). They monitored me Friday -Saturday after telling me I would have her....they changed their minds and sent me home. So today I go to my regular appt and let my doctor know what happened over the weekend. He sends me to l&d to be rechecked. The test came back positive. Showing fluid leaking. So they tell me I'm having my baby girl later tonight. I sign the papers once again and then the dr comes in a few hours later and says that I'll be monitored throughout the night again and that's all they can do since I'm not full term. (37 weeks). I'm 36 weeks and 5days. Like really a whole two days is preventing me from having her. This is so disappointing. I've been leaking for four days and I'm sure it will continue once I leave here tomorrow. I am contracting and 4cm dialated but they aren't gonna help me go into labor because I'm not 37 weeks. 😡
