I've heard mixed reviews. One because it can cause false alarms because the shoe falls off. I also wouldn't want to assume it'll do the job of me learning about my baby and paying attention to him. Also, since midwives and doctors aren't saying it's amazing, I think it's just yet another expensive gadget that preys on the fears of new parents.

It's definitely becoming more popular and I'm sure you can find plenty of reviews online. I have heard that some babies get little burns on their feet from it, but I think they were exchanged and hadn't had a problem since.
