can adults get croup?

I have had a pretty constant cough since I got over the flu right after Christmas. But the past week and a half it is SOOOO bad at night and it sounds like croup..... I'm 33 weeks pregnant is there anything my dr can give me or suggest I try? It's really bad it's like I cough so hard at night and end up peeing on myself from it (sorry tmi) but it sounds like a dog barking when I cough at night.... during the day I have the cough but it's nothing like what it is at night.... just curious what you ladies think. I will be calling my dr today they just aren't open yet.
