went into labor 39+2. had period like dull achy cramps for the past two days that just got stronger each day. finally at 39+1, they were strong and uncomfortable enough that i knew i should go to l&d and get them evaluated. i came home after celebrating my birthday (she was born the day after my birthday, thank god. i felt like she needed her own birthday.) watching the new logan movie and eating at rosas cafe and went to work cleaning and making sure the hospital bag was packed. then we took off to l&d at 10:30pm sunday night. i was dilated to a 4, and they didnt even monitor them to see if they were close and strong enough to be admitted; they just admitted me. my contractions got stronger over night and i did my best to go without the epidural. when they got 2 minutes apart and were strong enough that they were off the chart, i was like screw it, i need the epidural. which was actually comvenient cause i needed one for the tubal i got an hour after i had her. not to mention i got much needed sleep for over an hour.

it feels so good to not be pregnant anymore and to finally see her little face. 😍
