can I give my nine month old some orange juice?

Last night one of my husbands friends came over and he didn't tell us he had tonsillitis until after he held my son. 😑 so after he left I gave my son a bath and I'm wondering what else I can do to make sure he doesn't get it. I usually drink orange juice to get anything away. So I'm wondering if I can give him some in a sippy? Or any other recommendations would be great.

Orange juice is not going to prevent an infection that he was exposed to but if you do give it to him, water it down. Those drinks have way too much sugar out of the bottle.

I was told and exact thing I was doing to my son when he was a baby...If you haven't given to your baby any juices before, then you have to start with teaspoon of juice for the first time cos your baby's tummy is not use to acidic juices, so therefore you should increase amount each day or even every other day...or other option could be to give your baby a dice of orange to suck on...Hope this helps, if not then maybe you will have better suggestions from someone else..Good luck and I hope your baby will be ok. 😘

It's recommended to start with apple or pear juice, 3/4 water 1/4 juice. No amount of juice is going to prevent him getting sick though. 
   Not to mention ya super hard to contract tonsillitis, they'd have to be making out more or less. And that's only if he hasn't been treated yet.

I always super watered down juices when I first gave them to my daughter. I'd do like 2oz of juice to 2 1/2-3oz water.
