Proposal/ marriage while pregnant? Comment why

Do you think it's fine regardless of when you are proposed to or married? 
Do you think it looks like he's only proposing or you are getting married because you're pregnant? 
Or you should wait until after baby? 
What's your reasons?

I think it looks that way and is the case for many who become pregnant because they think it's the "right" thing to do and it just crosses people's minds naturally when they find out someone is pregnant and getting married, but if the people are truly in love and not just doing cuz they made a baby together, then who cares what other people think. Timing doesn't matter as long as it's truly for the right reasons and out of pure love for each other.

My boyfriend, now fiancé proposed to me 2-3 months after we found out/announced we were pregnant. 
I do truly feel that most people think we got engaged because I'm pregnant. 
One of his friends even said "props to you for doing the right thing" talking about proposing. That's stuck with me 
But, thing is we planned to get married and have a baby. We just wanted to get married first and then get pregnant. We didn't do anything to prevent pregnancy, so we knew it was possible.

My husband proposed while I was pregnant. We had talked about marriage before we even started ttc. He bought my ring before I was pregnant. But he wanted to propose on our anniversary and make it special. We didn't get married because I was pregnant. We got pregnant because we planned on being together forever and getting married in the near future.

Pregnant and non pregnant couples both get married for good and for bad reasons. The arrival of a baby may push some issues for some people but I don't think it's inherently worse.

I think people can get married whenever they want to. However, I do think some couples just get married when the woman falls pregnant because that's just what they think they should do. This is what my parents did. Lol. And that didn't end so well.

I do believe in many cases I've seen (& people that I actually know) they do get married because the women got pregnant. It's none of my business what other people decide to do. I think some people do it because it's the "right" & "Christian" thing to do. Which is perfectly fine with me. For me personally me & my fiancé got engaged a year before we decided to start ttc. & we plan to get married when we feel it's best & when we want to. Which may or may not be before we get pregnant. We're not planning anything out, we've always been th type to just go with the flow & see what happens. It works for us.

We had been talking about marriage long before I found out I was pregnant, and he didn't propose right away once we found out, because we didn't want to get married because of the baby. He did end up proposing though when I was about 6 months along, and we are getting married before the baby comes. We're getting married this soon because of the baby, but we're not getting married just because we're having a child, if that makes sense. We would still be getting married regardless, it would have just been a little bit later in the year.
