purposely wanting to raise a child as a single mother

So, how do you guys feel about a woman getting pregnant from say a sperm donor, and wanting to raise and have a baby totally on their own and as a single mother?  They don't have a boyfriend or husband but want a child, and want to raise one on their own? I have a friend who is really gonna go this and ngl I sort of liked that idea, I find it fascinating, I'm also pretty sure there was a movie where a woman did something like this? I feel like there is lol but I could be wrong. Would you ever consider that? Do you think it's a good idea? Someone told her that she better hope she doesn't have a girl otherwise "she'll turn into a slut without having a strong father figure in her life." And other things like that. Personally I think it's a cool idea 🤷‍♀️
