Group B strep positive and a natural birth

So I just got a call from my doc and I'm positive for GBS. I had it with my last pregnancy so I know the drill roughly, but with the IV will they still let me walk around? With my last pregnancy I got the epidural around the same time as the IV, but with this one I want to try and do all natural so I want to attempt to be up and walking around. Will they let me?
