help!! I stabbed myself while trimming down there

So last night I was trimming my pubic hair with some scissors and, being blind without my glasses, miscalculated and nicked my inner labia with the tip of the scissors. It hurt quite a bit, but not excruciatingly- it didn't bleed or anything, but it immediately swelled up that side of the inner labia. I checked again today and there's a small stab wound. My dilemma is that I don't know what to do- can I put neosporin down there? I'm starting my period in two days, can it get infected? Please help, any information would be useful!
