HE NEVER SHOUT ON ME!!!!

Is it weird that even though me and my boyfriend fight most of the times he never shout on me or react in a way to hurt me? I am the one who will get angry but even though he is angry he won't raise his voice. I know alot of couple when they fight they scream In each other faces (no offence) they even get abusive towards each other. We have been together 3 and half years. I mean how can he handle all my damn ass attitude and still be calm smiling at me and trying to act funny😒😕
