testing question

So I had a miscarriage and had a D&E two weeks ago yesterday and I have been having ewcm the last few days and I've been taking ovulation tests that are positive but not at highest peak yet like not same color line quiet yet but very close. Anyway it seems my body went from mc to ovulation without starting my period back. I know hormones can last up to four weeks after mc. So my question is we are back to bd (having intercourse). When would I test since I don't have a period to go by or a accurate time of when my next one would be to know if I'm late etc?
