Is it OK to add more items to baby registry after people have already been buying things?

I really didn't expect our guests to buy me anything off my baby registry so I didn't put many things on. The shower is about a month away and a lot of things are already bought. My husband says I should add more but I'm not sure if that's considered tacky or if it's normal. What do you think?

If alot of the items have already been purchased then there is no harm in adding a bit more on but dont get your hopes up that it will get brought because most people may have already picked something or if there wasnt anything left in there price range picked you something else. I would just say as long as you do a variety of items and prices as to not isolate anyone that wasnt going to spend loads but everything left is exspensive
