breastfeeding hype

I finally understand why women who breastfeed advocate for and defend it so much! People are so negative about what you do for YOUR child! My mother in law who's never breastfed keeps telling me to put cereal in my one month olds bottle to make her sleep, and then said I've spoiled her because she sometimes refuses a bottle and prefers my boob. "You should have just pumped from the beginning" is what she kept saying.
