What does your LO do with his/her hands while BF? my husband and i are curious!!
my tater tot pets my chest while i feed her. 😍😜 she's almost 10 weeks old

Hitting your breasts is natural as they are trying to bring the milk down. Ever watch a piglet nurse? They go up to their mom and use their noses to literally beat the milk down. When the milk starts letting down, the pig latches on for a feed. That's basically what baby is doing.

As they get older the hitting can be tough. My boys also scratched and pinched. It's all within the realm of normal. For this reason I generally with hold their hand while I nurse. I'm not personally a fan of hitting and scratching. I'm still nursing my third born who just turned 1. He now rubs his ear, or tries hitting. I hold his hand if he gets a bit crazy
