So how do parents prevent mixing up identical twins???

I am currently intoxicated so thoughts are running through my mind.  How exactly do parents of identical twins prevent mixing up the babies?  They look exactly the same.  I want twins but I am scared I'd mix them up during my daily routine.   Please explain how you prevent mixing them up.  Thanks!!!

What about when they are like a week old.. what if you accidentally switched which one was which and they grew up their whole lives with the others name 😳

I have identical twin girls.  From birth they have always looked different to me.  I have never had an issue telling them apart.  There are subtle differences between the two which my family uses to tell them apart.  Though they are identical, they are not EXACTLY alike.

There are a zillion different products for twin moms to solve exactly this problem. I ain't skeered

Well I don't have kids but my cousin has twins and she used to put bracelets on them to tell them apart or they'd wear different clothes that day.

I've also heard how some people will paint one of their twins thumbs to tell them apart.

I'm not a parent of twins, but I do know sets of identical twins.  And although they are "identical" there are differences. You just have to study their faces.  And besides physical differences, there personalities are opposite. You just know.  So I imagine parents would have no trouble if friends can notice the individuality.

I have to add that within a day or so you can tell their cries apart too.

Different color socks,hats or they keep on the hospital band until they can tell them apart by look...i think there was a full house episode about this

I feel like parents know what their babies would look like. Idk like an instinct I guess. I don't know how but you'd just know lol.
