going to the bar while pregnant?

So I was invited to a birthday party which just so happens to be at a bar. Not a restaurant/bar, but a bar-bar. Would it be strange to see a pregnant woman at a bar? I am 25 weeks pregnant and I am definitely showing so there is no hiding my belly LOL obviously I would also not be drinking I would just be accompanying my husband. Thoughts?

The only thing I personally would be worried about is the secondhand smoke if it's an open smoking bar. Otherwise I see nothing wrong with it!

I'd go have fun. My best friend is going out for a girls night next weekend at the bar and invited me and I'm noticeably pregnant. I still plan on going for like an hour just to get out of the house and have fun.

Nope. I used to be a bartender and never thought twice when I noticed a pregnant woman in there. Most bars now areamoke free so you should be good.

I personally wouldn't, because the bars around here are full of smoke. But if they don't allow smoking inside, and you be careful of the people that are drunk or acting silly I think you would be fine.

I sober-cabbed for a friend's birthday and hung out at the bar at 35 weeks. The bathrooms were nasty, and it was unfortunate I had to use them often with the drunkies, but besides that, it was a great time!
