**Update** Should I go to the hospital? (can't reach my doctor)

I'm 39+3 and have been having irregular contractions for about a week now. They have become a bit more regular and very close together tonight, but still completely painless. I lost my mucus plug a couple of hours ago, but I know that doesn't mean much in itself.

Do contractions have to be painful to mean I'm in labour?

So, I eventually was too tired and since there was no pain I just felt asleep.

Woke up with no contractions... which is disappointing. 😕

Lets see if the full moon tonight helps to kick start things again.
