Pre-E : any advice?

Long story short: 
I had sustained elevated blood pressure around 140-149/80. The OB sent me to a cardiologist, who prescribed me 200mg of Labetalol twice a day. 
I felt pretty crappy without the medication, but now I'm on day two and it's just awful. I get a headache every night and I am horrified that I'm just pushing over what may be Pre-E. I have no other symptoms though. Just an obvious elevated pressure and headache. 
I haven't been seen yet since last week and I'm starting to worry. Should I go to the hospital just to make sure that everything is okay? I feel alright most of the day, just morning and night is rough and the pill makes it 10x worse.

Are you checking your bp with the medication? I was on methyldopa for a while and it managed the bp but gave me horrible migraines. According to my doctors that's the safest medication for bp in pregnancy. Anyway I second the suggestion to call your doctor!! I hope it's nothing!

I has pre-e my first pregnancy. This is my advice. 
Call your dr ASAP. They will want to see you immediately. 
My biggest regret is ignoring my symptoms for almost 2 weeks before i decided to call. 
If you feel like something isnt right, go to the ER.  But they more than likely will not be able to diagnose you until after you do a 24 hour urine collection. Mine was done while i was admitted. I stayed 2 days in the hospital for that. If you go and they suspect it, they will probably admit you and call your doctor. 
Please do not wait. Please. Within a week of me being officially diagnosed with pre-e, i was induced and had my son at 34 weeks. I was not able to get the steroid shots needed to help his lungs grow for a prenature birth. He is perfectly healthy now, but i wish i would have called my doctor sooner.
Pre-e isnt something to put off! By the time i was induced, i was borderline eclampsia. Its scary. 
Please dont feel like youre over reacting. If nothing is wrong, than thats perfect! But if something is wrong you wil get the attention you and your baby need!
