So I started my birth control a week late..how bad is that going to screw with things? 😑😑

Do you mean you started it a week later than you were prescribed to take it (for example: you were supposed to start it the Sunday after your period started but you took it the Sunday a week after that)?
It'll probably just throw off your cycle. You should've just waited until next month if you missed when you were supposed to take it. 
Always take medications as prescribed.
