is RN nursing school hard?

There's a 2 year school near me that  says you can become an RN after just 2 years. I want to do it but I'm wondering how hard it is.

They are demanding. They're giving you everything you need to be a functioning part of a clinic or hospital.  It's more than just memorizing information on a test, you have to be receptive to store it and use it. It's not impossible by any means! Just be prepared to take on what is required, because it's not a cake walk.

It's not for the faint hearted, it's a lot of work and commitment and even though it's a 2 year program you'll still have to get your 4 year. They give a set amount of time to get your BSN. Nursing 3 & 4 is the most commonly failed and a high percentage fail the 1st time around and it's not uncommon to fail the first time around taking the boards. If you get every single answer right, the test will shut off at 75 questions. Typically ppl take the test till it hits around 100 questions but the more questions you're ask to answer, the closer you are to failing. But you're allowed to take it again and don't have to wait long. It's in no way easy being a nurse. Most places are understaffed so the patient to nurse ratio is high, some are lucky if they get a break. California recently changed regulations on that and its resulted in a better environment for RN's and their Pt's. Having more nurses on staff has actually saved them money 🤔 Let's just hope the rest of the country catches on. Places that reimburse tuition usually only reimburse for nursing classes. It's a lucrative career, lots of room to build once you've found your niche. Nursing Anestheticians do pretty well and there's many other ways to build on a BSN. You just gotta be ready to make nursing school your life, graduate, get in a job, start looking into completing your BNS

It is hard! It's demanding, time consuning, emotionally draining but it's worth it. I got a bachelors in nursing and currently work as a cardiac nurse on a very busy step down unit. I could imagine doing anything else though!

I wouldn't say it's hard it's just very very time consuming and you have to be dedicated. Getting in is the hard part because it's very competitive!
