Wait, you just started the pill and you're having unprotected sex? Your doctor or pharmacist should have told you that you shouldn't sex without protection for 1-2 months, not 7 days. It takes longer than a week for the hormones to really start working

Read the pamphlet that came with your BC. Every BC I've been on, even the mini pill, said not to have unprotected sex for 7 days (not 1-2 months).
