Don't EVER settle

I can't contain my happiness right now so I want to share my story. 

I was in a 4 year relationship with my high school sweetheart. For at least 2 years I was crazy, head-over-heels in love with him. But, he was more in love with his school work than me. It wasn't all that bad, but I convinced myself it was ok and that I didn't deserve anything better. Around this past thanksgiving, I lost feelings for him and we broke up about a month after. We had started dating when I was only 15, so I really didn't know how to be without him. But I KNEW I couldn't be with him just because he was comfortable. I had a really hard time but I knew it was the right thing to do.

Anyway, flash forward to about a month ago when I decide to download tinder. I had it for only one weekend before I met my current boyfriend. He is perfect. He treats me like a princess and he genuinely cares about me. It's all I've ever wanted and now I have it and I can't even contain how happy I am. We clicked instantly through texts and we FaceTime every day. He's a marine who was home on leave so I finally got the chance to see him in person this weekend.

Love at first sight exists, people! I am so happy I have tears in my eyes writing this. 

My advice: there IS someone out there for you! If you aren't happy, take life by the horns and change something. You deserve to be happy and in love and I hope you all find that special someone❤️
