Do you use "vagina" to refer to your entire genital area or do you use the more anatomically correct term, vulva?

It drives my husband crazy but I call it my bagina.... Background.  I am a nurse and one my my very first patients was a toddler that slipped off her bike seat hitting her vagina on the bar and she came in and matter of factly informed me she hit her bagina.

Im pretty sure that a lot of people who say vagina knows that, anatomically, it is incorrect. But you know, vagina is very common, thats why. Im in med school and I say vagina to refer to the whole organ! Lol

Yes, I generally call it all vagina however, there is a huge difference. I realize that but I suppose I'm so used to calling it a vagina.

I said vulva once and it legit confused the fuck out of my husband so then I had to explain the technical term for each part and he really never understood. So I just call it cooter or maybe some times vagina but yes I know there is def a difference. When cleaning my daughter I say let me clean your cooter not let me wipe your vulva.
