period problems

So I missed my period for almost 2 months and it finally came Feb 15 started off so heavy doctors gave me provera to stop it 10 days after but nothing worked . It's now a month and I'm still bleeding they have to do a D&C has anybody had one done ? Me and my gf went to the doctors to start TTC but to find out I gotta wait because AF wanna stay the ultrasound all you seen was my lining is super thick
