How many times is your 8-9 month old waking up to feed each night?

I don't really know how many times, but I will say that more than 4,
He doesn't cry or wake totally, he starts to move, latches and falls asleep in the process.
He has always been that way.
He sleeps 12 hours

My baby wakes up more than once but I typically only feed her one time, maybe a second if she's really fussy. I try not to feed her unless she really can't settle down otherwise.

My almost 8 month old is waking 2 times a night and only feeding will put her back to sleep. We are room sharing so it's a little difficult to sleep train and I've read that it's normal for them to wake up to feed. I don't mind waking up once a night but twice sounds unnecessary at this age. I thought it was a growth spurt but it's almost been a month of this so maybe it's time to cut out a feeding I just don't know how 😫 I know she can sleep 8 hours straight and only need one feeding a night. I don't know how to get back to that habit!

I asked my son's Dr bc he was waking up so much at night and he suggested letting him cry. Tons of ppl had told me that but for some reason it took the dr saying it for me to listen. 10-15 minutes from the time they wake up. My son fell asleep right at the 15 minute mark the first night. 10 the second night and was sleeping through the night by night 3. We started this at 5 months and he has slept 12 hours every since! It is hard but SO worth. I suggest buying a bottle of wine before you start trying 😂

At this age they do not need to be eating at night. If they are it's because it's out of habit. For us, my son stopped at 4 months. He was waking up crying but was still asleep when we would go get him. So we stopped. That's the secret. Just stop. They don't need it.

My son goes to bed at 7pm and wakes up around 8am

My son goes to bed at 7 wakes up to eat at 2 then back to bed till 6. Wish we could drop the 2am feeding but with him going to bed at 7 I think that makes it hard
