ivf with low morphology

Hello,
This is our story so far and we are looking for some advice/ success stories to make us feel a bit more positive.
Myself and my fiancé have been together since we were 16 and we are now 24 and 25. I stopped using contraception when I was 18 as the rod made me bleed all the time and quite angry, I was told the injection makes you infertile so I only had this 3 times as my nurse didn't recommend it and I always forgot to take my pill. We decided not to use anything as we both had good jobs and we were both older headed at that age. Even though we wasn't trying but we wasn't preventing getting pregnant I started to get worried as at the age of 21 I hadn't had any scares or Misscarages so I started to take ovulation tests and every month I had positive tests but I carried on as normal and just assumed I was the problem and we couldn't have kids but we would look into it when we was older. When I turned 23 we both decided it was time to see a doctor as we both really wanted children, I went too see the doctor and she referred me for blood tests, an ultra sound, and an internal scan I was told everything was fine but they referred us to the fertility clinic as they was worried that I hadn't got pregnant in the last 5 years and so that my partner could be tested and further tests for myself. I had a hycosy test and the nurse actually told me she had never seen tubes as clear as mine and even turned the screen round so show me. My partner had to do two sperm tests, when we called for the results we was told he had great sperm and no problems just a few abnormal sperms cells but nothing to worry about.
We then had to make an appointment with the doctor to discuss the best treatment. We was shocked to find out my partners sperm was the problem as he has low morphology at 2%, the doctor then told us our chances of getting pregnant naturally where slim and it would take us a lot longer than most couples which we was already experiencing. He then told us he was referring us for IVF with ICSI as he believes this is the only treatment that might work. My appointment was in December and I'm dues too start IVF in September as the waiting list on the NHS is 9 months.
In the meantime can anybody recommend any vitamins or tablets my partner can take that may increase are chances?
Also has anyone had success with ivf the first time with low morphology?
Thank you
