Dreading my baby shower...

I just moved to the western slope of Colorado, I'm from California. I literally have one person in this whole state I consider a friend. My mom is so excited, this is my first baby and her first grand baby. She just moved away but wants to throw me a shower, but I don't see a point. She said she'd invite her work friends, and all of my half sister's sisters. So basically, people I either don't know or don't like. I just don't see the point in throwing a party if I don't have friends to celebrate with. Its actually making me really sad, I feel like its just driving home how little people care about me.

Any advice?
