twins??

Question

I had my first appointment with my midwife today, and she ordered an ultrasound because she said my uterus was big even for it being my 5th baby. Did anyone else have this happen? Was it twins? I had a feeling it was twins when I first tested..

4th pregnancy and I have the same thought. I said to my OB my uterus feels huge this time and she felt and her eyes got big and said it's definitely there. Her face said more than her words to the size, but since I had a positive test I've had that hmm feeling. Pretty sure it's only single but I do wonder.. It's not as common for petite women and I'm only 4'11. But you never know.

I just had the same thing happen, but I don't know if it's twins or not. This is my 4th baby and my midwife was trying to find the baby's heartbeat with a Doppler. She felt my stomach and said,"is that your fundus??? No there is no way that's your fundal height! That's way too high for a 12 week pregnancy..." I mentioned maybe it's because it's my 4th pregnancy and everything pops up faster. She said maybe. but now I'm seriously wondering if I've got more than one in there. I guess I'll find out at my gender scan in a few weeks.

I was same but only had one baby....born 6lbs 11.5oz so not even big baby lol
