HSG - hydrosalpinx

Hi guys! I had my HSG test and the entire thing was utterly awful! Has anyone else had one? They diagnosed me with hydrosalpinx but I don't talk to my doctor until Monday, so I only have google for help 🤦🏼‍♀️ And I'm so confused ! When I google that diagnosis it's caused mostly by stds, bad iuds, or endometriosis none of which I have or have ever had so that's frustrating not knowing what caused it - anyone else been diagnosed with a different cause? I'm devistated because I'll have to surgically remove my tubes. We were already planning on IVF bc of my husbands issues, but this seems so final & devistating to think we can never try for child # 1, 2, or 3 without IVF 😩😭😥
