When to Start Stockpiling??

Hey mommas-to-be!
I'm feeling this first tri exhaustion and soooo ready to be in my second! Just 2 more weeks❤️

I was wondering, when do you girls think it's good to start stockpiling on diapers, burp rags, etc? I am 10w today and have heard conflictiong opinions. And when I do start buying diapers, I've heard it is better not to buy so many newborn size diapers, as baby will grow out of them quickly, and rather to buy size 1. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Instead of stockpiling, we set up a diaper delivery subscription on Amazon and set that up to start a couple of weeks after my son was born. One large box of diapers per month have worked out great for us. I bought a medium box of newborn diapers before my son was born so that we'd have something when he came home. My version of stockpiling was allowing myself to buy an article of clothing whenever I was out as long as it was under $10. 
We'll do the sane thing with this baby.

I would buy some newborn and 1, but they stay in 2 or 3 the longest. My daughter never outgrew size 3 before getting potty trained! Also, sometimes you end up liking a different kind of diaper than you thought you would once you see how they fit baby and test which ones you have less blow outs in! I liked pampers better for fitting newborns but ended up switching to Huggies as she got older!

I stockpiled for years before getting pregnant. I only bought size 1-4. I ended up needing newborn, but only because my guy was 6.11lb. I think we used a total of 3 packs of newborn. Buy the least of size 2. They stay in size 3 the longest.
