Coconut oil??

Super embarrassing question, but can you put coconut oil on your butt? Not for anything sexual but to help sooth it? I've been sick and have been pooping all-day and now my butt hole really really hurts and all I can think of to sooth it is coconut oil. I usually use hemorrhoid cream, but I don't have any.
