Mirena positives?

Hi guys! Got the Mirena a few days ago and so far not had too many problems other than nausea and cramping...

From all posts Ive seen people are seeming to hate it and are getting it removed not long after insertion

Does anyone have any positive stories to share to help me out my mind at rest?!😅

If you stick it out for the first month, my cramping and nausea went away. I love my IUD. The month of cramping and random bleeding was worth the no bleeding at all, no pill taking, and no tampon/pad buying expense for the next 7 years. I got mine in the beginning of Feburary of this year and all of those symptoms are gone now. I still get bloated occasionally or spot after sex but it has made such a difference amd is sooo worth it

I had a mirena inserted at 8 weeks PP and had no issues with it. A few days of bleeding/spotting right after insertion. After that a very minimal period every other month or so. No weight gain, I continued to lose pregnancy weight and it did not affect breastfeeding. I had it removed when we were ready to conceive and got pregnant my first cycle. I will get another after this baby as we plan to be done. ☺️

Yes! My sex drive has gone through the roof! I'm Horner than ever haha! Plus I LOVE the mirena! Can't feel it at all, no cramps aches or pains! No need to remember to take pills or change a pad. It's so stress free and hassle free I love it lol

I had my first IUD (Mirena) for the full 5 years, and I just had my second one put in a couple weeks. I had the first removed and the second inserted in the same day. 
I didn't gain any unnecessary weight, I wasn't hormonal, and I got a period every month. I never had a pregnancy scare, and I didn't have to worry about anything while having it. I love it, and I would recommend this over any other form of birth control.
